Georgian Finance Ministry: US, EU funding suspension won't affect state budget

The budget of Georgia will cover all necessary needs of the departments, and the decisions of the US and EU have not affected the country's budget, Deputy Minister of Finance of Georgia, Giorgi Kakauridze, said in parliament, Report informs.

"The EU and US began to distance themselves from Georgia after the adoption of the so-called 'foreign agents' law this spring - part of the aid to the government has been frozen and the country's integration into the EU has been suspended. The US has imposed sanctions and visa restrictions on some Georgian citizens. And this, as noted, is just the beginning," he said.
