Georgia, Türkiye ink MoU on security cooperation

Givi Tumanishvili, Chief of Staff of the National Security Council of Georgia, and Seyfullah Hacimuftuoglu, Secretary General of the National Security Council of Türkiye, signed a memorandum of understanding, which envisages deepening the security cooperation, Report informs with reference to the Georgian Security Council.

"The purpose of the memorandum is to deepen friendly relations and security cooperation between the two countries. The memorandum implies the development of cooperation in matters of national and international security; holding consultations on security issues and exchanging views at different levels," the Georgian Security Council said.

The document also envisages holding joint seminars, expert meetings, and exchange of experience, the council added.
