Georgia to consider lawsuit filed by president, opposition against law on foreign agents

On August 28, the Constitutional Court of Georgia will begin considering the claims of the country's President Salome Zourabichvili and the opposition on the law "on foreign agents," Report informs referring to the press service of the Constitutional Court.

The hearing is scheduled for 11:00 local time.

Four claims have been filed with the Constitutional Court of Georgia to repeal the above-mentioned law.

The claims were filed by the country's President Salome Zourabichvili, 121 Georgian NGOs, 38 opposition MPs and journalists.
