Georgia stops publishing daily coronavirus statistics

Official statistics on COVID-19 will no longer be published daily in Georgia, the country's Health Ministry said in a statement.

According to Report's local bureau, statistics of infections, recoveries and deaths from COVID-19 will be published once a week - on Tuesdays.

Overall, the country has reported 1,655,221 infections, 1,637,293 recoveries, and 16,811 deaths since the start of the pandemic.
