In the first quarter of 2020, Georgia's foreign trade turnover amounted to $2.773,9 billion, 2.7% lower than a year ago, according to the country's National Statistics Office.
In January-March, Georgia's exports reduced by 5.9% year-on-year to $778.2 million, while imports decreased by 1.4% to $ 1.995,8 billion.
During the reporting period, the neighboring country's trade deficit equaled $1.217,6 million, which is 43.9% in total trade turnover.
