Inaccurate information creates misperceptions, and French President Emmanuel Macron should have known that the parliamentary elections in Georgia were conducted through an electronic system, making it impossible for anything to influence the results, according to Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili.
Report informs via Georgian media that Bochorishvili stated, "Georgia held electronic elections, and no one could have stuffed such a large number of ballots into the box to affect the election results. Macron should probably know this."
She added that if Macron is unaware of this fact, then it is necessary to ask the French Ambassador to Georgia, Sheraz Gasri, how accurately she is informing her authorities about the ongoing processes in Georgia.
"Overall, it is very sad when incorrect information creates a false impression," Bochorishvili emphasized.
During an annual meeting with French ambassadors, Macron cited Georgia as an example where, in his opinion, "Russia is destabilizing the electoral process and stuffing ballots into boxes."
