Georgia posts 5.1% increase in the number of incoming tourists

Tbilisi. 4 March. REPORT.AZ/ 247,705 people visited Georgia in February, 2019, up 11,993 people or 5.1% in comparison to a year earlier, Report’s Georgian bureau informs citing the National Tourism Administration.

In January-February 2019, totally 553,644 tourists traveled to Georgia, up 29,054 people or 5.5% in comparison to a year earlier.

Georgia earned $164.5 million from tourism in January, up 5% from the previous year.
