Georgia in talks with partners on closing airspace for Russia

The authorities in Georgia are in talks with their partners, including neighboring states, on the possible closing of the airspace for Russia, Vice Prime Minister Levan Davitashvili told a briefing following the government session.

"We are a bit cautious in this issue. We are in consultations with partners, including the countries of the region," he said, adding that neighbor countries operating flights to Russia also use Georgia's airspace as a transit.
