Georgia evacuates six citizens from Afghanistan 

Six Georgian citizens have been evacuated from Afghanistan, said the Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Khvtisiashvili, Report informs, citing Georgian media.

According to an agreement with Hungary, six Georgian citizens, who worked at a US company, have been evacuated by Hungarian plane to Tbilisi.

“Currently, we are working on evacuating another 16 Georgian citizens,” the deputy minister said.

He said Georgia will not receive refugees from Afghanistan, and this issue is not being discussed.
