Former MP: Iran sacrificed its nuclear interests to Russia

Iran sacrificed its interests in the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action for Russia's interests in Ukraine, said Heshmatollah Falahatpisheh, the former chairman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Iranian Parliament, Heshmatollah Falahatpisheh, Report informs, citing the Telegram channel of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

According to Falahatpisheh, Russia is blocking Iran's path by agreeing to the opening of the Zangazur road: "Former President Ibrahim Raisi sacrificed Iran's nuclear deal interests to Russia's interests in Ukraine. The current government [referring to President Massoud Pezeshkian] should not repeat this mistake and be unilateral with Moscow and should not fall into the trap of friendship. This may lead to the weakening of Iran's strategic positions and the trampling of its national interests."

Heshmatollah Falahatpisheh is a well-known politician in Iran. He was a member of the seventh, eighth and tenth terms of the Islamic Parliament.
