Foreign minister: Armenia determined to smooth out problems with Russia in constructive manner

Yerevan is determined to smooth out problems with Moscow in a constructive atmosphere, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said at a meeting of the standing committees of the National Assembly on the draft state budget for 2024.

According to him, there are some problems in relations with Russia. Many things do not suit Armenia, and in all likelihood, Russia has the same attitude.

"We are confident that what our Russian partners are surprised by is a consequence of the policies that we have seen in various media. We have no other position than to smooth out the problems in a constructive atmosphere, resolve them and move forward in the spirit of friendship and cooperation," Mirzoyan said.

The minister added that this process does not depend only on one side. Despite this, Armenia will continue to develop relations with Russia.
