Forecasters predict snowfall and rain in the zone of a devastating earthquake in southeast Turkiye, Report informs via TRT Haber TV.

"According to the latest news, weather forecasters predict snowfall and rain on Tuesday in the zone of a devastating earthquake in southeastern Turkiye," the TV channel reported.

Experts say this will significantly complicate search and rescue operations carried out after the disaster.

A magnitude 7.7 earthquake hit southeastern Turkiye on Monday morning, making it the worst quake since 1939, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said.
