Foreign ministers of Türkiye, Bosnia & Herzegovina hold talks in Ankara

A total of 100 countries have expressed their readiness to provide support to Türkiye after the two devastating earthquakes centered in the province of Kahramanmaras, Report informs referring to Anadolu Agency.

Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu was speaking at a joint press conference with his Bosnian counterpart Elmedin Konakovic on February 15 in Ankara.

Cavusoglu noted that 76 countries have already sent search and rescue teams to Türkiye, and two more states are preparing to send specialists to the disaster zone.

“I want to thank each of these countries,” the Turkish minister stressed.

Cavusoglu noted that rescuers from 12 countries have already completed their mission in Türkiye and returned to their countries.

He reminded about the plans of the Turkish government for the large-scale construction of houses for residents of the disaster zone. Moreover, construction work will start in early March.
