Fire has engulfed the historic Egyptian Bazaar in the center of Istanbul, Report informs via Turkish media.
The bazaar is especially popular among tourists.
“The fire started at the historical Egyptian Bazaar in the Eminonu area, firefighters have begun extinguishing it,” the local fire service noted.
The second largest market in Istanbul was built in the 17th century; over the past year, some of the market's shopping arcades have been reconstructed.
