Financial Times: NATO to discuss closing skies over Ukraine

NATO members at a meeting on March 4 will discuss the introduction of a no-fly zone over Ukraine after the Russian attack on the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, Report informs, Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares said this, Financial Times writes.

The paper draws attention to the fact that the night assault of Russian troops at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant prompted US President Joe Biden to once again call on Russia for an immediate ceasefire.

NATO will discuss possible interventions in Ukraine, including imposing a no-fly zone, during the summit on Friday, March 4, Albares said.

At the same time, he added that a positive decision on this matter remains unlikely.
