Protecting the territorial integrity and energy security of the Eastern Partnership countries remains a priority, Report's Georgian bureau informs, citing a statement issued by the European Commission on the new strategy of relations between the European Union and the United States.
The document states that the EU and the US must coordinate responses to common challenges and strengthen their policies in the Eastern Partnership countries to promote regional and global stability.
The updated strategy will be presented at a joint summit scheduled for the first half of 2021.
