The European Union has once again extended its economic sanctions against Russia due to the annexation of Crimea.

Report informs that, according to a statement released by the EU Council on Monday, the decision was made to prolong the sanctions until June 23, 2025.

The restrictive measures, first introduced in June 2014, encompass a range of prohibitions, including import of products originating in Crimea or Sevastopol into the EU, investment in infrastructure or financial services in these territories, provision of tourism services in Crimea and Sevastopol.
