Erdogan, Zelenskyy talk over phone

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a telephone conversation with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Report informs, citing the press service of the President of Turkiye.

The presidents discussed the war between Russia and Ukraine.

In addition, Erdogan expressed his satisfaction with the successful completion of the prisoner exchange process. The Turkish leader said that the organization of a "referendum" in some areas of Ukraine under the control of Russia hinders diplomatic efforts. Erdogan noted that he is ready to make any contribution to a peaceful end to the war.
