Erdogan: 'We want historic opportunity in region to contribute to Baku-Yerevan peace treaty'

"We want the historic opportunity that emerged from the liberation of Karabakh from occupation to contribute to the signing of a peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia," Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at the 15th Ambassadors Conference in Ankara, Report informs.

He said that Türkiye will continue to have a positive influence on other regional processes.

Erdogan noted that territorial integrity and sovereignty are important for Türkiye not only in Syria but also in Iraq.

"We want the bloodshed in Gaza to finally stop. We are ready to do everything possible for this," added the Turkish leader.
