Erdogan meets with UAE President

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Report informs, citing the Turkish media.

The issues discussed between the leaders have not been disclosed.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in the United Arab Emirates early Tuesday as part of a two-day visit to attend a summit, Report informs, citing Anadolu.

Erdogan will address the World Governments Summit being held from February 12–14 in Dubai under the theme “Shaping Future Governments,” which will bring together state and government officials and representatives of international organizations, the private sector, academia, civil society, think tanks, the media, and businesspeople from various countries.

On the sidelines of the summit, he will meet with UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his counterparts from the participating countries.

On Wednesday, Erdogan will pay a one-day visit to Egypt’s capital, Cairo, in response to an invitation from his Egyptian counterpart, Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.
