Erdogan urges global community to join peace initiative on Ukraine

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called on the global community to join the peace initiative on Ukraine, Report informs via Anadolu Agency.

“We will continue to step up efforts to end the Ukraine war, which has recently flared with renewed vigor. We stand for the settlement of the problem on the basis of territorial integrity and taking into account the independence of Ukraine. We emphasize the crucial role of dialogue and diplomacy in resolving the current crisis. It is essential to work together to find a reasonable, fair and viable diplomatic solution that will allow the Russian Federation and Ukraine to overcome the crisis adequately. We ensured the export of Ukrainian grain to the world market. The Istanbul Agreement has shown that the negotiations are yielding results,” Erdogan said at the 77th session of the UN General Assembly.
