The President of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, signed a decision on holding the presidential and parliamentary elections on May 14, Report informs via Anadolu.

Erdogan said that the election phase will start on Saturday: "I hope that the decision will be successful for the people and the political elite. We informed the people about holding the elections on May 14 a long time ago. There are several objective reasons why the elections were not held on June 18.
