Erdogan meets NATO chief Mark Rutte in Ankara

Recep Tayyip Erdogan and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte discussed the agenda for the upcoming Ankara summit, as well as regional and global developments, during their meeting in the Turkish capital, Report informs.

According to a statement posted by Türkiye's Presidential Communications Department on X, Erdogan said preparations for the summit had been completed and that Ankara was ready to host the gathering.

The two sides also exchanged views on strengthening defense industry cooperation among NATO allies.

They noted that the Defense Industry Forum, to be held on the sidelines of the summit, would be closely followed.
