Erdogan: Growing investor interest stems from confidence in Turkish economy

Investors' growing interest in Turkiye is yet another indicator of confidence in the economy and diplomacy, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in a message to the participants of the VI Congress of Turkish Investment Markets, which started on Thursday in Istanbul, Report informs via Anadolu.

Erdogan stressed the readiness of the Turkish authorities to provide maximum support to foreign investors who "trust the bright future of the country."

Erdogan drew attention to Turkiye, which is steadily developing, against the background of the pandemic, in a region full of conflicts. According to him, the robust healthcare system, the ability to recover quickly and other factors have turned Turkiye into a strong country.

"Since the first day of the Ukrainian-Russian crisis, Ankara has maintained a balanced approach, striving to reach regional agreements. Our country has strengthened its role as a key player in the region. Therefore, I consider investors' growing interest as a manifestation of confidence in the Turkish economy and diplomacy," the head of state noted.
