Every day, hundreds of calls are received from the people of Israel and NGOs to volunteer in Türkiye, Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen said at a joint press conference with Mevlut Cavusoglu.
"On behalf of the government and the people of Israel, we express our deepest condolences to Türkiye over the natural disaster. As a friendly country, we are trying to show our support. I want to say once again that we will try to provide all the assistance we can from now on," FM said.
Cohen noted that Israel sent hundreds of thousands of tons of humanitarian aid to Türkiye and built a mobile field hospital:
"We will try to bring the relations between the two countries to the previous level. Israel will stand by Türkiye from now on."
