Dozens of illegal migrants rescued off Izmir coast

The Turkish Coast Guard has rescued 92 illegal migrants moving from Greek territorial waters to the Turkish coast, Report informs, citing Anadolu.

The boat carrying the migrants was found off the coast of the Cesme and Dikili districts of Izmir province in western Turkey. Thus, two groups of 82 people were rescued on the coast of Cesme.

Another 10 people were rescued on the shores of Dikili.

Assistance was provided to migrants and taken to the Migration Office of Izmir province.
