According to Report, the representatives — Elnur Mammadov, Lasha Darsalia, and Vahan Kostanyan — welcomed the first-ever trilateral meeting of the three South Caucasus countries.

The meeting of deputy foreign ministers of Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan began earlier today in Tbilisi.

Report informs, citing the Georgian media, that the meeting was attended by Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili.

Georgia was represented by First Deputy Foreign Minister Lasha Darsalia, Azerbaijan by Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov, and Armenia by Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan.

According to a statement from Georgia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the main goal of the meeting was to exchange visions and opinions among the three countries regarding potential directions that could form the basis for trilateral cooperation.

“Today’s trilateral meeting does not replace or contradict any existing format of relations, but rather represents an additional effort by the three neighboring countries to establish constructive and mutually beneficial cooperation,” the Georgian Foreign Ministry stated.

Trilateral talks on regional cooperation will be held today in Tbilisi, Report informs, referring to the Armenian Foreign Ministry.

The event will be held with the participation of the deputy foreign ministers of Armenia, Georgia, and Azerbaijan.
