Delta strain accounts for 100% of infection cases in Georgia

"100% of coronavirus infection cases detected in Georgia are delta strain," head of the country's Center for Disease Control and Public Health, chief epidemiologist Amiran Gamkrelidze said.

Report's local bureau informs that the cases of infection with the Mu strain have not been confirmed.

"Studies are currently underway to rule out the presence of a new strain," he said.
