Death toll from alcohol poisoning rises to 26 in Russia’s Orenburg

Some 54 people were poisoned from the use of surrogate alcohol in Orenburg region of Russia, 26 of them have died, RIA Novosti has learnt from the regional health ministry, Report informs.

"Some 54 people were poisoned. But an increase in the number of deaths occurred among those who were already hospitalized in a coma. At the moment, 26 people have died, 28 are alive," the regional health ministry explained.
