The CSTO welcomes the completion of negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan on a peace treaty and hopes for its prompt signing, the organization's secretariat said in a statement, Report informs via TASS.
"The Secretariat of the Collective Security Treaty Organization welcomes the statements from the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan regarding the completion of negotiations and the agreement on the text of an interstate peace document between the two countries.
"We express our hope for the swift signing of the document and believe that its implementation will pave a reliable path to peace and stability in the South Caucasus—one of the most crucial areas of CSTO responsibility," the statement reads.
