COVID-19 cases soar in Iran

The number of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID-19) increased from 1,501 to 2,336 within 24 hours in Iran, Report informs via RIA Novosti.

Meanwhile, the number of COVID-19 related deaths reached 77, having increased by 11.

However, as many as 435 people have recovered from the disease.

According to an earlier report, 23 members of the Iranian parliament have contracted COVID-19.
