Commissioning date of Türkiye's first national combat aircraft revealed

Türkiye's national combat aircraft Kaan is scheduled to enter service in 2030, but this may happen earlier, head of the Turkish Defense Industry Department Ismail Demir said in an interview with TGRT News, Report informs.

Demir noted that the Kızılelma UAV was also put into operation ahead of schedule.

Kaan is Türkiye's first national combat aircraft. On May 1, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced the official name of the aircraft.
