Clashes erupt between religious believers and LGBTQ+ community in Moldova

A confrontation took place in the Moldovan capital, Chișinău, between religious believers and members of the LGBTQ+ community.

According to the Eastern European bureau of Report, a group of believers, along with local residents, attempted to disrupt a planned two-day LGBTQ+ march.

Owing to the intervention of law enforcement, the clash was successfully prevented. Several individuals have been detained.
