Charity event held in Moscow on Leyla Aliyeva's initiative

On March 26, on the initiative of Leyla Aliyeva, employees of the Representative Office of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Russia visited the Nash Dom (Our House) State Budgetary Educational Institution in Moscow.

The Russian Bureau of Report informs that the charity event organizers brought joy to the orphans by presenting them with books, toys, and sweets.

Director of the Orphanage Vadim Menshov expressed gratitude to the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and personally to its vice-president Leyla Aliyeva for many years of friendship and assistance: "The children and I deeply appreciate, respect, and love the Azerbaijani people. We are very grateful to Leyla Aliyeva for taking care of our children. Before the pandemic, she often visited our orphanage. Her arrival has always been a holiday for children."

He also expressed hope for the early opening of borders and the opportunity to revisit Azerbaijan: "We have been to Azerbaijan more than once. Today we have developed excellent relations with colleagues and children from Baku Orphanage Number One. We have all become one family. Now we are in touch every day and look forward to meeting again."

As noted in the Representative Office of the Foundation, before the epidemiological situation, the Moscow and Baku orphanages made exchange trips to visit each other.
