Cevdet Yilmaz to temporarily serve as Türkiye's president

Türkiye's Vice President Cevdet Yillmaz is set to temporarily assume the role of President while President Recep Tayyip Erdogan attends the BRICS summit in Russia. The official announcement was published in the Resmi Gazete, Türkiye's official gazette.

President Erdogan's two-day visit to Russia, commencing today, necessitated this interim arrangement.
