Progress in normalizing relations with Syria is possible in the absence of preconditions, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu told Habertürk news, Report informs.
“But it depends on the approach of the Syrian authorities, and if there are preconditions, say, ‘you move your armed forces,’ then there is no need to talk about progress,” he said.
Earlier, Cavusoglu noted that he would leave for Moscow on May 10 to meet with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov and participate in the four-party talks on Syria.
