Cavusoglu accuses Greece of inhumane treatment of migrants

It's we who are guarding Europe's borders, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said at a joint briefing after a meeting with his Finnish counterpart Pekka Haavisto, Report informs.

Accusing Greece of anti-humanitarian treatment of migrants, the Foreign Minister said that if Turkey did 10% of these actions, it would be severely criticized.

"Defending inhumane acts committed in order to protect the border is fundamentally contrary to European values. They take passports and clothes from people and send them back. We are talking about taking people's clothes in this cold weather. Where are the human rights defenders? Finland is at the forefront of human rights defenders. I hope you will warn about this issue. As Turkey, we do not treat those from Iran in this way," Cavusoglu stressed.
