Caspian Today media platform unveiled at Astrakhan forum

At the Caspian Media Forum in Astrakhan, Acting Governor Pavel Pautov introduced an information content platform called Caspian Today.

According to Report, which cites TASS, this innovative media platform aims to bridge the information gap and enhance its accessibility in the Caspian region.

In the face of the global information war, Pautov emphasized the necessity to combat the spread of hostile content and blatant fake news. He stated that it is crucial to deliver reliable information to a wide audience.

"In this regard, we want to present the project of the international Caspian media platform, Caspian Today, and invite journalists from the Caspian region countries to participate in its work," he said.

Caspian Today will allow users to view news in six languages, including Azerbaijani, Kazakh, Turkmen, and English, with the homepage displaying a comprehensive daily news overview.

The 9th Caspian Media Forum has brought together delegations from all Caspian countries and experts from Uzbekistan and Moldova, comprising government officials and media executives. With around 120 international guests participating, the forum's theme this year is "Dialogue of Cultures as the Basis for the Development of the Caspian Region."
