Business forum of 'Central Asia + Japan' Dialogue underway in Astana

Central Asian countries are creating a unique IT ecosystem that allows for the modernization of the public administration sector, fintech, and e-commerce. Therefore, cooperation in the implementation of AI technologies, construction of data centers, and ensuring cybersecurity can be fruitful for all parties, Kazakhstan's Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov stated during the business forum of the "Central Asia + Japan" Dialogue.

According to Report, which cites Kazakhstani media, speaking about the financial sector, Bektenov noted the possibilities for cooperation between the Astana International Financial Center and the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

He emphasized that the region is interested in technology transfer.

The press service of the Kazakhstan government reported that more than 450 representatives of delegations from Central Asian countries and Japan gathered at the forum. Japanese business circles are represented by the leadership and managers of major companies such as Toyota Tsusho Corporation, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries EMEA, Ltd., Mitsui & Co., Ltd., and others.

It is noted that the outcome of the business forum within the framework of the "Central Asia + Japan" Dialogue will be the signing of documents on the implementation of joint projects aimed at taking the multifaceted partnership to a new level.
