Bus with pilgrims from Uzbekistan crashes in Medina

A bus with pilgrims from Uzbekistan heading to Medina got into an accident. There were 50 people on board. Of them, 10 were injured, the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Uzbekistan said, Report informs via Uzbek media.

The victims received emergency medical care in hospitals near Medina; 40 pilgrims were accommodated in a hotel.

“The situation was taken under control by the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Jeddah. Liaison with law enforcement agencies and medical institutions has been established. Diplomats are in constant contact with citizens,” the ministry said.
