Building collapse kills 5, injures 15 in Iran's Tabriz

An explosion occurred in a five-story building in the Iranian city of Tabriz, Report informs via Iranian media.

The collapse of the building on Beheshti Avenue killed five people, and injured another 15.

Akbar Dashti, deputy head of the Tabriz Fire Department, said the building collapsed due to a gas explosion, but the reason would be officially announced after an investigation.

Dashti stressed that it was not yet known precisely how many people were in the building at the time of the incident.
