Bodies of 427 people exhumed in Ukraine's Izyum

A total of 427 bodies have already been exhumed at the site of a mass grave of people, of which 202 are women, and 5 are children, in the city of Izyum, Kharkiv region of Ukraine, Serhiy Panteleyev, head of the Main Investigation Department of the National Police, told a briefing.

Report informs citing RBC-Ukraine that, according to him, 11 bodies are so mutilated that their gender cannot be established, so the issue will be entrusted to forensic experts.

"Also, 21 bodies of Ukrainian servicemen were found in a mass grave in this city," Panteleyev said, noting that a visual examination showed that they met a violent death.

He added that the exact cause of the death of each citizen will be established as a result of additional forensic studies.
