The level of national defense spending in Russia has reached 32.5% of the federal budget, Russian Defense Minister Andrey Belousov said at a meeting of the military department's board, which was held with the participation of President Vladimir Putin, Report informs.
"Already today, the level of national defense spending has reached 6.3% of GDP, 32.5% of the federal budget. This dictates strict requirements for the effectiveness of our work," he noted.
Belousov added that the Russian Armed Forces will form a new branch of service - "unmanned systems forces."
This process will be completed in the third quarter of 2025, he said.
