Baku. 6 December. REPORT.AZ/ "There are no interests of suppliers and consumers of energy resources in the allied relations," Belarus president Alexander Lukashenko said.
Report informs that he spoke at the summit of the Eurasian Economic Union held in St. Petersburg on December 6.
"The Eurasian Economic Union is an entire system. The absence of an agreement on the principles that forms the basis of the oil and gas market does not allow our alliance to develop at a higher pace," he said.
According to him, the cost of one thousand cubic meters of natural gas in Belarus makes $ 3, however it is 3 times less than in Russia- $ 1. "As a result, Belarus pays 130 dollars per thousand cubic meters of gas in the Smolensk region."
Russian President Vladimir Putin advised fair and open discussion of this issue, without the participation of the media. According to him, Belarus sold a thousand cubic meters of gas for $ 129 in 2018. This figure will be $ 127 in 2019, however it is sold for $250 to Germany.
