Commenting on the fall of the Ukrainian missile in Belarus, Chief of the Anti-Aircraft Missile Forces Department, Colonel Kirill Kazantsev, did not rule out the possibility of a deliberate provocation by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Defense Ministry of Belarus said, Report informs, citing BelTA.
“As was said earlier, the air defense systems hit a target in Ivanovo District that arrived from the Ukrainian side. Combat crews worked out as they were supposed to. Yet, questions about this incident remain,” Kirill Kazantsev said.
The Defense Ministry is considering two versions: an unintentional launch of the anti-aircraft guided missile because of the poor training of the crew or because of a missile malfunction, or it could be a deliberate provocation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
