Bad weather conditions in Türkiye cause flight delays

Rain and strong winds have caused interruptions in air transportation in major Turkish cities such as Istanbul, Ankara, and Antalya, Report informs, citing the local press.

Some flights scheduled to land at Istanbul International Airport and Sabiha Gokcen Airport were unable to land at their intended destinations and were diverted to other cities, including Izmir.

The Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency declared yellow and orange codes in 44 out of 81 provinces on Saturday.
