The unwavering bond between Azerbaijan and Türkiye is fortifying the might of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), according to Kamil Aydin, a deputy of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye.
In an interview with Report's Ankara bureau, Aydın emphasized that the Shusha Declaration is contributing to the strengthening of the OTS.
"Never in history have Türkiye and Azerbaijan enjoyed such close, friendly relations, and this brotherhood is leading to the reinforcement of the Turkic world as a whole," he stated.
Aydin highlighted the warm welcome President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan received from President Erdogan during his recent visit to Ankara.
"The same happens when Erdogan travels to Azerbaijan; we witness the warm welcome he receives," the deputy added.
Looking ahead, Erdogan is expected to participate in the upcoming summit in Shusha next month and attend the COP29 in Baku come November.
Aydin underscored that the relationship between Azerbaijan and Türkiye is rooted in brotherhood, a bond that has stood the test of time.
