The 102nd anniversary of the establishment of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic has been marked in Georgia's Tbilisi.
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Georgia Dursun Hasanov, the embassy staff, SOCAR Energy Georgia CEO Mahir Mammadov, members of the Azerbaijani Business Association (AZEBI) and many others visited the Heydar Aliyev Park and laid flowers at the bust of the national leader, Report's local bureau says.
They also visited the pantheon of prominent Azerbaijanis in Tbilisi's National Botanical Garden and laid flowers at the graves of ADR founders Fatali Khan Khoyski and Hasanbey Aghayev.
As part of the events dedicated to the Republic Day, an electronic board in front of the embassy will feature a 15-minute video on the history of the ADR and modern Azerbaijan.
In the evening, Tbilisi TV tower will display the flag of Azerbaijan.
Today, Azerbaijan is celebrating Republic Day.
