Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan were the most popular destinations for Russian tourists this summer, Report informs, citing the results of the survey conducted by Renaissance Insurance Group and OZON Travel.
Thus, most Russians are afraid to choose the USA (53%), France (49%), and Mexico (48%) for travel. According to the survey, Russians consider India (47%) and Tunisia (47%) the most dangerous countries for tourism.
Among the countries that seem to be the safest for Russian residents are the Maldives (71%), the Seychelles (68%), the United Arab Emirates (68%), Cyprus (66%), and China (65%).
