Astana Declaration signed at SCO summit

The leaders of the SCO member countries signed the Astana Declaration, Report informs via Kazakh media.

The SCO summit is held under the slogan “Strengthening Multilateral Dialogue - Striving for Sustainable Peace and Development.”

Belarus was accepted into the organization at today’s meeting.

The SCO was founded in 2001. Now it includes ten members: India, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Pakistan, Uzbekistan and Belarus. The observer countries are Afghanistan and Mongolia, and the partner countries are Azerbaijan, Armenia, Cambodia, Nepal, UAE, Türkiye and Sri Lanka.
